In 2001, God gave Pastor Hill the vision to organize a church. Four believers met to pray and make plans for a place of worship. They were Pastor Hill, Merlee Hill, Michael Hill, and Sam Riley. On may 6th, 2001, the first worship service was held at the Radisson Hotel, 8787 Kirby, Houston, Texas. On this date, the first member to join our church family was Ms. Willena Harris, who later brought her husband and five children. Other believers joined our family as Pastor Hill continued to preach, teach, and reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ. Over the next few months, the members of Bethel searched for an architect to begin construction on a sanctuary. In 2004, three acres of land were purchased at 200 East Sycamore in Fresno, Texas, and plans were implemented for the building of the church. In March 2005, we moved into our completed sanctuary. Our attendance has increased and ministries have been developed to help our members grow spiritually and to help meet the needs of the community. God is continuing to use this church to change lives and eternal destinies. Only God deserves the credit, honor, and glory for all the good things that he has done for the church. We have truly come this far by faith and we know that God did not bring us this far to leave us.

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This past year has been productive and rewarding in the ministry at Bethel Community Church. This Church believes in the complete accuracy of the bible and we feel that the church has a place of service for everyone through its programs and activities.
Only through the growth in the Christian life, through love, through devotion and dedication, through Christian concern for the lost, and through mission efforts, would God have so richly blessed his people.
I thank God today for the Bethel family. I also thank Him for all of the churches and friends throughout this country for their support. What shall I preach for years to come? The same Christ that was crucified, buried and raised on the third day. The same Christ that is able to see us through. He will guide us and lead us.
